It is so hard for me to grasp this concept. I don't understand.
Why, why, WHY do you put on makeup??
You are so beautiful, you should know that. Don't you know beauty is based on personality, not what you look like? We are all beautiful, inside and out. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise. If you want to talk about beauty look-wise, then I have a fabulous argument.
How does that make you feel better? How can you embrace your beauty when you're covering it all up? When it's fake? How can you look "natural" if you use makeup?
Does the makeup really make you look better? Or did society just brainwash you into thinking it's what the pretty people wear these days? Do people really care if your eyelashes are long? If your lips are full? If your skin tone is perfect?
I think a no make-upped face is so beautiful. Because those people have the confidence to go outside and show people that, hey, I'm beautiful and I don't need makeup to tell me. People do so much to keep their skin clean and pure, but can you really keep your skin so completely clean and pure if you're masking it with foundation and pigments and powders and creams and all that junk?
I just feel... sad that girls can be self-conscious and that they're so broken down that they have to cover that beauty they already have.
